Requirements
Required:
- Admitted to practise in a US state, with hands-on experience drafting and negotiating US-law commercial contracts
- You own matters end to end: negotiation, resolution, obligation tracking, administrative follow-through and early escalation
- Precise written and spoken English with customers, founders and advisers
- Commercial judgment to distinguish material business risk from a drafting preference
Nice to have:
- GDPR familiarity, B2B software or AI experience, AI/data contracting
- Experience with venture-backed companies and financing rounds
- Multi-entity or cross-border corporate management
Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate customer, supplier and partner agreements under US law
- Own AI-specific contracting issues: data use and training, output ownership, liability and warranties
- Lead legal readiness for enterprise deals and diligence
- Manage external counsel: briefs, budgets and advice
