About the position

Lead the commercial and vendor-management function, overseeing cloud and SaaS vendor relationships and driving procurement governance.

Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years in vendor/commercial management, procurement, FinOps, or technical/financial analysis, at a senior, function-owning level
  • Experience in owning vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and renewals
  • Experience in running procurement governance such as competitive-bid processes and benchmark analysis
  • Ability to communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have:

  • Experience in async or globally distributed teams
  • Ability to build cost dashboards and reporting hands-on using SQL and BI tools
  • Energized by building a function from the ground up and navigating ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Own vendor relationships and run our primary cloud and SaaS vendor relationships end-to-end
  • Enforce our competitive-bid process for incoming requests and manage larger procurement
  • Own spend visibility and unit economics, surfacing licensing and usage inefficiency
  • Build the dashboards and reporting hands-on, partnering with our data teams
