Requirements
Required:
- 5+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or network engineering experience running production infrastructure in an agile environment
- Strong hands-on experience with networking and cloud infrastructure
- Experience operating production networking infrastructure, ideally including VPN or proxy infrastructure at scale
- You are security-minded: secrets management, encryption at rest and in transit, least-privilege access, key handling, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2)
Nice to have:
- Experience with censorship-circumvention technologies and traffic obfuscation
- Experience with userspace network stacks or Go-based networking tooling
- Experience taking over or integrating infrastructure from another company
Responsibilities
- Run and evolve a globally distributed VPN network spanning multiple cloud and hosting providers
- Identify critical reliability, security and cost risks
- Improve monitoring, alerting and incident response
- Become the clear technical owner of the Lumos infrastructure domain
