About the position

Join a leading provider of open source software as an Engineering Manager for IAM, focusing on building high-performing services and secure identity solutions.

Requirements

Required:

  • Proven experience hiring and leading a high performance software engineering team
  • Experience with Go and Python software development
  • Ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems
  • Experience working with container technology and Kubernetes

Nice to have:

  • Strong understanding of software/infrastructure security and performance
  • Experience designing and/or operating large scale distributed systems
  • Knowledge of identity and access management technologies and standards is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Define the technical vision for the products and manage the team backlog
  • Review code and coach younger team members
  • Design software, write high-quality code and tests, and provide insightful code reviews
  • Work with broader open source communities, participating in hackfest events and webinars
