Requirements
Required:
- 5+ years managing engineering teams in a cloud-native environment, with a total of 10+ years in technology
- Deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem, specifically EKS (Kubernetes), IAM, VPC, and RDS
- Expert-level knowledge of GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven track record of managing seven-figure cloud budgets and implementing successful cost-reduction strategies
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance, network security, and zero-trust principles
- Experience managing WAF, Workers, or CDN configurations at the edge
Responsibilities
- Direct a team of 6 Cloud Engineers fostering a culture of high ownership and technical excellence
- Oversee the evolution of AWS EKS clusters ensuring they remain resilient, performant, and secure
- Partner directly with the Finance team to manage hosting costs and drive a cost-conscious engineering culture
- Define and enforce infrastructure best practices across the entire engineering organization
