Requirements
Required:
- 7+ years in communications, with at least 3 years leading PR at a high-growth startup or in-house at a tech company
- Real reporter relationships with people who pick up when you call
- Excellent writing skills to produce clean drafts quickly
- Founder mentality to thrive with ambiguity and build a function
Nice to have:
- Experience in AI, developer tools, or enterprise software
- Track record of taking a relatively unknown company to market recognition
- Experience shaping the public voice of founders
Responsibilities
- Own the narrative and make it coherent and consistent
- Build relationships with the press and manage announcements
- Write founder posts, customer stories, and internal memos
- Handle difficult moments calmly and honestly
