Requirements
Required:
- Expert-level TypeScript with experience using generics, conditional and mapped types as design tools
- Experience authoring or maintaining a published library with a public API
- Familiarity with open-source projects and the maintainer side of them
- Fluency in npm packaging including dual ESM/CJS builds and type resolution
Nice to have:
- Strong written communication skills for design docs and issue replies
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and move quickly
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve our JS/TS SDKs
- Triage inbound issues and review outside contributions
- Keep generated database types flowing correctly through the client APIs
- Work on realtime features including WebSocket connections and subscriptions
