Requirements
Required:
- 5+ years of professional senior mobile engineering experience in an agile environment delivering native applications to end-users on both Android and iOS
- Hands-on production experience using Android: Kotlin (and Java), Jetpack Compose and XML views, Coroutines, Flow, Koin, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, Room, WorkManager
- Experience with iOS: Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, RxSwift + RxCocoa, Combine, Core Data or equivalent
- Working knowledge of VPN protocols and networking fundamentals: WireGuard, OpenVPN, Shadowsocks or similar
Nice to have:
- Experience shipping or maintaining a consumer VPN, proxy, or privacy product, especially censorship-circumvention tooling and traffic obfuscation
- Experience with TunnelKit / OpenVPNAdapter, wireguard-apple / wireguard-android, gomobile-built libraries, or userspace network stacks
- Web frontend experience (React / TypeScript) for the product’s website, account portal, and landing pages
Responsibilities
- Own the Android and iOS mobile domain end-to-end for a consumer VPN with 10M+ installs
- Improve engineering quality and release processes, and ship product improvements
- Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and execute the strategic roadmap
- Integrate and debug native libraries written in other languages
