Requirements
Required:
- You have 5+ years in Product, with at least 2 to 3 years on platform, infrastructure, developer-facing, or backend/API products.
- You're credible with senior engineers and can reason about distributed systems, execution models, and reliability/scalability trade-offs.
- You've led cross-team technical initiatives with real delivery risk, ideally including a migration or breaking change.
- You make trade-offs explicit and connect foundational or technical-debt work to customer and commercial outcomes.
Nice to have:
- You can read code or prototype, even if you're not shipping it.
- You've worked with B2B SaaS requirements like security, compliance, or deployment complexity.
- You're comfortable working with security teams on code execution, isolation, or compliance topics.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for the Core Platform in partnership with Engineering and Product leadership.
- Drive work on the scalability and reliability of n8n's execution engine, including areas like worker pools and distributed execution.
- Drive the planning and release of major or breaking platform versions, including migration strategy, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Act as the bridge between the Core team and the wider org: Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Support.
