Requirements
Required:
- 7+ years in technical support, databases, backend engineering, SRE, or a similar field
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals
- Strong in high-performance SQL and query optimization
- Comfortable troubleshooting complex setups
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud hosting providers like AWS
- Hands-on experience with Edge Functions
- Ability to mentor junior team members
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve advanced customer issues across Postgres, Auth, RLS, Storage, Realtime, Edge Functions, and client libraries
- Provide consultative, proactive advice to optimize workloads
- Reproduce bugs, isolate root causes, and escalate to engineering
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with users of all levels
