About the position

Join a fast-growing tech startup as an Account Executive focusing on newsletter sales. Drive advertising revenue through outbound sales and AI-enhanced workflows.

Requirements

Required:

  • Experience in sales, business development, media sales, advertising sales, sponsorships, partnerships, or newsletter monetization
  • Strong outbound prospecting ability and comfort building a pipeline from scratch
  • A genuinely AI-native working style, not just surface-level familiarity with AI tools
  • Daily Claude users strongly preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Claude or similar tools to support real sales work, not just general writing
  • Clear ability to use AI to improve research, workflow speed, personalization, top-of-funnel output, and sales execution
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to operate independently

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound sponsorship sales efforts across Mode Mobile Media’s newsletter brands
  • Build a pipeline by identifying relevant advertisers, agencies, and sponsorship partners
  • Generate top-of-funnel activity through research, prospecting, and outbound execution
  • Help build a more scalable, AI-enabled outbound engine for newsletter sponsorship revenue
